Great place to stay to make the most of Valencia's many attractions.
Great location in historic old town, easy walk to lots of bars, restaurants, the main tourist sites and public transport. Very helpful, friendly staff. Excellent breakfast.

What was the highlight of Hotel Mediterraneo Valencia
Friendly hotel in excellent central location. Great value for a comfortable stay in a great city.
Location was excellent. Within easy walking distance of the sights of the old town and the plaza de ayuntamiento and just a few hundred yards from the Xativa metro station with connections to the airport . The room was comfortable and clean , shower worked well . Breakfast was simple but fresh - plenty of fruit, breads, cheeses and cold meats . The staff were without exception pleasant and helpful the whole time - putting up with our faltering Spanish and then speaking good English if required.
It’s a small simple hotel so it doesn’t have a restaurant or any kind of spa/ pool etc but we knew that in advance so didn’t expect that. There is a kettle provided in the room to make tea/ coffee but at least in our room there wasn’t a convenient plug for it and so we had to use one next to the bed or in the bathroom. Some reviews have complained about noise from neighbouring rooms - we stayed during the fallas so there was a lot of noise outside the room in the street but again we expected that . On the nights we stayed after the fallas had ended we didn’t hear noise from the street or from other rooms.

Comfy stay in the good location
Location is good. Very close to everything. Metro station only a few minutes walk. The breakfast has a good variety and tasty.
Room is a bit small. Lift is a bit slow.

Fun in Valencia.
The staff was fantastic. They were all very helpful and friendly, The location was great. Close to the center and places of interest that were important to us. For breakfast, there was a good variety to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely return.
Everything was wonderful.
